Family trip

We enjoyed a 2-week tour through central Japan. The El Monte camper is very small by European standards, but it is very practically furnished, with a surprising amount of interior space. We regularly used the microwave to heat up ready-made meals that are available everywhere. The battery system has more than enough capacity to not be dependent on a camping power connection. We also spent the night on a normal parking lot a few times along the way without any problems, the public toilets are very clean everywhere.

We were in Japan with our family with two children aged 15 and 21. Despite our height, we are all taller than 1.8 metres, we could sleep well on the two bunk beds and the double bed above the cabin.

We really enjoyed the trip, with a camper you are much freer in the organisation of the trip than for example with the train.
