Kyukamura Myoko sits on the Sasagamine Plateau, a designated forest therapy base in Niigata surrounded by the rich nature of the Echigo region. Sasagamine Campground, the part of the resort where RVs can stay, is open from July through September and stays comfortable even in midsummer, with highs of around 24°C. A gear rental plan called the “Camp Without Luggage Pack” is available, so even first-time campers can use the site with peace of mind.
