This campground sits on a hill on Hokkaido’s Shakotan Peninsula. True to its name, Marine View, it looks out over the Sea of Japan, and at night Hokkaido’s vast sky fills with stars for a wonderfully open-air camping experience.
The spacious grounds welcome pets, and playground equipment makes it fun for kids too. Hand-held sparklers are allowed. Since it’s close to both the town center and hot springs, you can stay in comfort without any inconvenience.
