Located in the western part of Tomakomai, Hokkaido, within Nishiki-Onuma Park, this campground’s biggest draw is its beautiful natural surroundings of native forest and a small river. Accommodations are plentiful: alongside the 209 campsites there are 28 buildings in total — 10 bungalows, 10 cabins, and 3 log houses — plus a center house. Outdoor activities include park golf (18 holes), a BBQ area, canoeing (8 canoes available), and horseback riding, making it a great choice for family or group camping. With a small stream, an adventure playground, tennis courts, and a soccer field, there’s plenty to keep kids entertained, and it’s popular with families.
