Auto Resort Takino

Basic Information

Auto Resort Takino is Japan’s first nationally operated auto-campsite, established as accommodation within Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park (rated the top “5-star” grade by the Japan Auto Camping Association). Though close to the city of Sapporo, it lets you fully enjoy Hokkaido’s nature. The Center House includes a shop stocking everything from daily necessities to camping gear, shower rooms free for overnight guests, a coin laundry, and a multi-purpose hall used for events and seminars as well as accommodation — offering a safe, comfortable experience even for first-time auto campers. There’s also a lawn plaza where kids can enjoy the outdoors to the fullest, a gentle wood-and-rubber-mat athletic play area (play lot), and an observation deck.
